This documentary focused on highlighting Brooklyn FC’s Pink Game, using the event as a platform to honor and amplify the stories of those who have fought and are living with breast cancer. At its core, the event and documentary aimed to raise awareness, create space for shared recognition and support, and bring the community together through a collective moment of visibility, care, and solidarity.

Approach
The Approach
From a directing perspective, the intention was to observe rather than orchestrate, letting the event unfold organically. We deliberately moved away from the language of a traditional sports documentary, choosing instead a quieter, more restrained approach. By focusing on mood, texture, and intimate human moments, the film favors a cinematic, observational tone over coverage and creating space for reflection rather than spectacle.
